Application technician Process grinding technology

Responsibilities

• Development of centerless external cylindrical grinding processes on our test or customer machines
• Creating CNC programs on a Fanuc basis
• Carrying out preliminary and final acceptance of customer machines in-house and at the customer’s plant
• Carrying out grinding tests and creating test reports
• Documentation of the sanding process
• Measuring and evaluating the grinding results on various measuring devices
• Elimination of machine malfunctions and application problems (1st level support) for Customers via telephone, e-mail or on-site

• Installation and commissioning of customer machines at the customer’s plant
• Implementation of training courses for operators
• Selective collaboration in machine assembly and service assignments

Qualifications

• Basic technical training as a polymechanic, automation technician or  technician
• Experience in the operation of machine tools, grinding machines, as well as CNC and robot programming desirable
• Experience in the field of machining, primarily grinding technology
• Entrepreneurial, determined and solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
• Independent, customer-oriented and flexible way of working
• Business fluent communication in German and English
• Willingness to travel
